I cannot for the life of me understand why there is neither an Abba version of Les Mis or a Rocky Horror version of Les Mis.

I mean, can't you just picture the utter glory of Jean Valjean singing "He is Your Brother" and Cosette singing "Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Man After Midnight).

Or better yet, Javert in fishnets. I don't know what song he'd be singing, but.... Javert in fishnets. I don't know whether to smile or shudder.
I guess it depends on how you personally picture Javert.

But anyway, I think of no conceivable reason for these things not to happen immediately. Immediately, I say!

And if the resources cannot be found, then I will someday direct a production of Les Mis. And we will spend a full week doing just that.


Btw, next time you listen to Abba, picture a Les Mis character singing it. That'll make it more fun.

Although I haven't submitted anything for a while, several of my non-published deviations are of a mature content. What I am debating is, when I do post them, whether to post the Smut Mature Deviations on this account or create another more private one. I mean, they're probably rated like 'Older Teen', depending on your taste.

I bought the first volume of The Sandman by Neil Gaiman.
I've only read three or four chapters.
The art is not friendly.
It's quite scary, and sometimes disturbing.
I usually don't know what's going on.

AND IT IS. AMAZING.

Neil Gaiman is good, man. Really good. How am I supposed to study for finals when he's such a freaking genius? The book is /fascinating/. Beautiful. Excellent.

I want a boyfriend for the sole purpose of making him a Morpheus costume for Halloween.
That's what I am going to do.

Gods, it would make a good movie. Scary as hell. Hard as hell. The director would have to be indescribably passionate and talented. (Incidentally, that is why the movie has been shelved several times now.)

Wow. So all i can think about is Les Mis. Like, it's enveloping all of my thoughts. It's just so darn awesome.
Like, I was excited about it after reading the book (all 1463 pages of it), but since then I saw an awesome high school version of the musical, listened to a bunch of professional versions of the songs, and looked it up on dA, all of which have seriously spurred on my love.
Did you know there's this huge fandom in existence for Les Mis? Not just the musical either. There's bunches of people that have read the whole book and do fanart and ship and everything. I was particularly surprised by the big'n fanbase for the Amis de l'ABC. I mean, TKAM barely had anything, so I wasn't expecting a whole lot, but wow.
Also found some rather disturbing stuff: specifically JVJ/J shipping. *shudders*
I really really really really want to see it on Broadway. Or at least done professionally. But not in concert. Concert versions are dumb. (Though I'd go anyway.)

Anyway, I've now run out of Les Mis fanart to drool over. Seriously, I must have found every pic on dA. SOOO, I was hoping:
