A Brief but Staggeringly Important Observation.

I cannot for the life of me understand why there is neither an Abba version of Les Mis or a Rocky Horror version of Les Mis.

I mean, can't you just picture the utter glory of Jean Valjean singing "He is Your Brother" and Cosette singing "Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Man After Midnight).

Or better yet, Javert in fishnets. I don't know what song he'd be singing, but.... Javert in fishnets. I don't know whether to smile or shudder.
I guess it depends on how you personally picture Javert.

But anyway, I think of no conceivable reason for these things not to happen immediately. Immediately, I say!

And if the resources cannot be found, then I will someday direct a production of Les Mis. And we will spend a full week doing just that.


Btw, next time you listen to Abba, picture a Les Mis character singing it. That'll make it more fun.
